I spent several months looking for a bird for a friend. I called breeders
locally, checked out the local pet stores, and spent endless hours
on the web looking for someone who would help me find a quality bird.
I stumbled upon Parrot Supercenter.
I have been thrilled with the results of that find. We purchased a
beautiful Scarlet Macaw from the Parrot Supercenter. They contacted
me promptly, asked questions about what type of home she would have,
and throughout the entire experience, were delightful to talk too.
They truly care about their birds and it shows in the quality of animal
we received. Our Scarlet arrived several months later, everyone at
the airport wanted to take her home.
Lucy is a beautifully marked macaw, with the sweetest disposition,
and brilliant colors. She arrived in excellent condition in her own
private doggie carrier, we opened the door and she came out saying
"step up". We were thrilled! The adjustment to her new home
was an easy transition. She is very calm, feeds well, very accepting
of the people around her and has continued to thrive. She has already
grown a quarter larger than she was 9 days ago when she arrived. The
vet has been to the house, checked her out, ran tests on her blood
and declared her free of disease and fit as a fiddle.
Please give the staff an opportunity to make your purchase of a parrot
a truly pleasant and exciting experience. I know we would not hesitate
to recommend them to anyone in Arizona or on the World Wide Web!

Parrot Supercenter is one of the BEST businesses around. The customer
support staff is phenomenal!! They answered many questions prior
to the decision to purchase, and kept me informed of the progress
of weaning. I received a call to let me know the shipping date and
had a message checking to see if everything went all right with
the shipping before I even got back from the airport! My baby congo
grey is beautiful and very friendly, it is obvious that the staff
at Parrot Supercenter took the time when weaning the birds. Baby
grey started cuddling and playing the same night we got home! Everything
has checked out with the Vet thus far, and the vet even commented
on the beauty of the bird. I give Parrot Supercenter a 10 out of

We had recently lost our scarlet macaw named fred but we didn't
want to try and take his place with another macaw so we looked around
at different types of parrotts. I came across the Parrot Supercenter
online when i was cruising the web. They had such a large selection
so i called to ask questions about some of the birds. I will never
forget the help i recieved from a staff member that day. He gave
me the information i needed and I proceeded to order a baby African
Grey. I was so excited and so was my family but i had so many questions,
so i called periodically to ask for information on my bird. They
even sent me pictures of "Jynx" as he was growing, of
course they are on my refrigerator. Then they called to let me know
when i should pick my new feathered friend up at the airport. Well,
it was all so easy. My son and i picked Jynx up on July 20&
nbsp;and you can imagine how wonderful it was to finally meet this
little guy. He arrived in a real nice travel cage with food and
water and he was real hesitant about coming out to meet us. When
he finally came out, we all introduced ourselves to Jynx. He was
scared and whined (a small short cry) for about three days from
morning to nite and then he started to feel more secure with us
and the consistant chirping stopped. Now, he whistles so beautifully
and i swear he's already saying things. He is such a pleasure and
he's so beautiful. His color is a soft gray and his tail is such
a nice red. His eyes are already turning lighter. But he's still
such a baby and he loves to cuddle. I can get him to lay on his
back in my arms. He has brought us such joy in such a short time.
Thankyou for being there when i needed advice, you were so helpful
and friendly. I have never d ealt with a friendlier company in all
my life. I will refer you to anyone who is looking for a bird.

In regards to my recently purchased African Grey Congo
from the Parrot Supercenter, I can not adequately
express the joy this new friend has brought every
member of my family. The staff kept in consistent
contact with me regarding the well being of my baby as
well as his progress in weaning. In addition, I was
responded to quickly when I requested DNA testing.
When it came time for his air travel arrangements, the
staff was not only considerate of my location when
picking his airport of destination, he was sent to me
in a roomy compartment equipped with water and food.
They advised me in advance of what I might expect
after his long journey and what to bring him when
arriving at the airport. Once he was home, I was
amazed at how quickly he acclimated to us. He did not
hesitate in coming out of his carrier wanting human
contact from the start. Within the first few hours,
it was obvious this bird had been raised and weaned
with amazing love, patience and consistent touch. He
is already mimicking my other bird which I did not
expect so quickly, saying hello when I walk in from a
long day! Every evening he cuddles with not only
myself but with my children, burrowing his head and
leaning onto his chest, always falling fast asleep.
Because I do own another parrot which I purchased from
a large exotic bird chain in California I can really
compare my experienc and say with sincere honesty what
a pleasure it has been dealing with the Parrot
Supercenter! The staff is not only considerate and
kind but very knowledgeable about these beautiful
animals. I would recommend them with no hesitation!

Parrot Supercenter was a godsend during my search for a healthy
baby Double
Yellow Headed (DYH) Amazon Parrot. I searched all the pet stores
in the
Washington, D.C. metropolitan area trying find a bird that meet
my standards,
and every bird was either of ill health or beyond training due to
the lack of
human interaction. Then I heard of the Parrot Supercenter, and I
visited their
site. I was impressed with their online setup and their quick response
to my
questions. I still was skeptical, at first, ordering a baby bird
online
because I wasn't there to see the bird, but the staff at the Parrot
Supercenter sent
pictures of the bird and kept me informed of my DYH Amazon's health
throughout
the entire weaning process; the communication was excellent. The
shipment of
the bird could not have gone any smoother, and when I met my DYH
for the first
time, I could tell that he was loved from the moment he hatched
from his egg.

I bought a Conure Parrot from the Parrot Supercenter. I just cant
say enough about the bird. It has a personality unlike any bird
I've ever seen. I'm guessing it has something to do with the way
they hand feed and care for their babies from birth.Ours really
likes to be petted. It doesnt try to bite and is very calm. It will
let you hold it like a gerbal if you can believe that. At this age
they are so fragile and needy, but thats the best time to get them
for bonding reasons. After buying our bird we checked around and
found we got an excellent deal. We all like good deals. We had the
bird shipped from Texas to Indianapolis. It was not a problem and
everything ran very smooth. They provided me with all the information
I needed to care for our bird. They even called us after we picked
up our baby to see how things were going. I would deffinately recomend
the Parrot Supercenter to anyone looking to get a nice well taken
care of bird.They are number one in my book.

I wanted to drop a line to let you know that the Umbrella Cockatoo
we purchased from you at the beginning of December is doing very
well. We've been having so much fun with her, she has been a wonderful
addition to our family.

little fellow (who I have since named "Hummer"), I was

I am so glad to have the opportunity to speak about my experiences
with
The Parrot Supercenter. When I began my search for the right African
Grey, I spoke to many breeders and even visited a number of birds.
I
have always been a bird enthusiast, but I had a particular reason
for
looking for a Grey at this time--my son is almost 4 years old and
autistic. Few things stimulate him and encourage him to connect
with
"the outside world" but Parrots are certainly one of them.
He has
always been fascinated by birds. I had heard only good reports about
the Parrot Supercenter, and so started there when I was really ready
to
include a bird in our home. I was impressed by how much the staff
were
willing to work with me, even helping to smooth over some communication
miscues of our own.
Pepper has been here for two weeks now, and I can't express what
a
difference he's already made in our lives. He is a large, very healthy
Grey (our vet called him "Splendid), and shows a great propensity
for
speech. He is sweet, gentle, loving, and very comical. When I went
to
the airport to collect him, he caused many stares, and has already
opened many avenues of conversation about my son and his condition.
I can't recommend the Parrot Supercenter highly enough due to the
customer care, yes, but mostly because of their commitment to the
birds
they handle. Pepper has been loved from the day he was hatched,
that
much is evident, and it has made all the difference in the way he
has
been able to adjust to our home. I was able to discuss what Pepper's
job would be with the Staff, and I feel they really took the time
to
listen to me and are as enthusiastic about the project as we are--even
matching us with a baby that might have a good chance at meeting
our
needs. And I just want to say thank you to the entire staff--taking
on
a Parrot usually means making a lifetime commitment, and in this
case,
we couldn't be happier with our new family member.

I just wanted to let you know how WONDERFUL Casey (Blue-fronted
Amazon) is! He is adjusting well to his new home. He is eating well,
playing hard, and already saying hello! He has been a bit nippy,
which I expected, and we are working on that one. I am extremely
impressed with how tame he already is. He has no problem getting
on my hand, anytime, anywhere, even when he managed to get well
above me up on the top of the cage! He seems to think my freckles
need to be removed, which is cute, and does not like Band-Aids (I
cut my finger and put one on and later when he came out he promptly
tried to remove it from my finger!) He tried to bathe himself in
his water bowl yesterday, so I put my arm in the shower with him
on it and he loved it! I'm working on the shower perch later today
so he can play in there. I can see his confidence growing every
day- at first, he was timid when moving about his cage, almost like
the flying had messed with his internal balance for a day- anyhow,
now he is hanging upside down on his toys, swinging by one foot,
and acting like a happy little boy. The staff was fantastic and
the level of service I received in co-ordinating his plane trip
here was terrific! He arrived healthy and looking beautiful and
he has bonded well with all members of the family, including the
kids! Thanks again, and please let others know I would HIGHLY recommend

I just wanted to take a few minutes to extend my gratitude to everyone
at the Parrot Supercenter. I must say that I have had nothing but
a wonderful experience with you. You have been absolutely marvelous,
and I cannot thank you enough. I LOVE my bird and he is learning
that I am going to be the best mommy for him. We have worked alot
together over the past couple of days and I can see his evolvement

We spend each morning together making his breakfast full of fruits
and veggies. He sits on his "table-top" perch that I got
for him, while I cut up his food and put it in his bowl. He eats
out of his bowl just fine, but he likes it when I hold the food
and he eats out of my hand. We have been doing this every morning
in the kitchen together. Luckily, I work less than a mile from home,
so when I have some free time during the day, I drop in to say hi
to him and give him a little bit of lovin'. I think he's happy and
I know for sure that I am.
I am so glad that I got him. He is PERFECT!! And I can't thank your
staff enough for spending all that time taking my phone calls and
answering my silly worrisome questions. Alot of my friends have
seen pictures of him that I have taken since I've gotten him and
they have asked me where I purchased him, etc. and I have referred
them all to the Parrot Supercenter because this experience has been
such a great one and I will definitely refer anyone and everyone
to you. Your service has been amazing.
I will be in touch , and if I'm in the market for another bird,
I will be calling again. But for now...Samson is just perfect for
